Terms and Conditions

Lasting Impressions (referred to as the company) undertakes to hire vehicle(s) to the client (the person booking and paying for the service) for the period of hire, under the following terms and conditions. We will negotiate and agree a price for the work the prospective client needs. We will then agree a payment method (sending email confirmation of the booking). Payment must be:

A deposit to be paid of £100.00 per car at the time of booking to secure the car and booking date. This deposit is non refundable.
Payment must be made in full at least 8 weeks prior to the the event date.
Short notice bookings will be honoured subject to availability and will require full payment at the time of booking. The booking cannot be confirmed until the company has received cleared funds.
Where payments are paid by cheque, we reserve the right to charge an administration fee of £35.00 for each cheque returned to us by our bank for whatever reason.

The following also applies:

1. The client is responsible for ensuring that all information provided on the booking form is correct regarding dates, times, addresses etc.
2. Any variations to the journey(s) originally booked and agreed to between the company and the client may be subject to additonal charges, if these changes involve extra time/distance covered. If the hire exceeds the time agreed at booking, an immediate charge would be payable to the driver of £75.00 per additional hour/part of. This is only available, should the vehicle and chauffeur not have other commitments.
3. The principle hirer will be responsible for the conduct of all passengers carried, and we reserve the right to invoice or make a charge to the hirer for any loss/damage sustained to any part of the vehicle caused by any passenger or third party. A minimum charge of £100.00 will be applied to cover any valet/replacement costs caused by any passenger due to food, drink or illness.
4. The company's chauffeurs have the right to refuse to carry any passenger who is thought to be under the influence of any intoxicating substance, or who's behaviour poses a threat either to the chauffeur, vehicle or any other passenger. Should this happen, no refund will be given.
5. The company maintains a strict non-smoking policy in all vehicles. It is now a legal rquirement that passengers and drivers refrain from smoking in the vehicles.
6. It is the client's responsibility to ensure that legal and adequate parking is available at the chosen venue.
7. Although our vehicles are fully insured for passengers and third parties, passengers' property is carried entirely at their own risk. The company shall not be held responsible/liable for for any loss or damage to such property.
8. The company will make every effort to arrive punctually at the client's address/chosen destination. Adequate time must be given to the company by the client to carry out each journey. When a booking is made by the client, the client should consider travelling times in case of unforseen delays. We cannot be held responsible for late arrival due to circumstances which are beyond our control. The company recommends that the client is covered by separate insurance to cover this e.g wedding insurance.
9. We only accept one booking per day for each vehicle. In the unlikely event that your chosen vehicle is not available on the day of your chosen event , for whatever reason, we will do our utmost to source an alternative vehicle or provide a full refund, depending on the circumstances on the day.
10. In the event of a no show by the client, no refund shall be made by the company.
11. All bookings are accepted on the condition that the client understands and accepts the above terms and conditions.
